Gulf Coast Elite Gymnastics is a premier gymnastics training program established in 2022 to meet the needs of a growing community. Two gymnastics programs were merged and under the leadership of new owners and an international elite coach, this program will bring a new level of training to the gulf coast. GCEG is located in Gulf Breeze, Florida, with two locations in Midway and Oriole Beach.

Directors
PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Michael Harris
Oriole Beach
Coach Michael Harris is currently the Program Director at Gulf Coast Elite Gymnastics. He is one of the few International Elite Coaches in the US and coached multiple athletes on the USA International Team, including Ashley Miles, Britney Koncak, Kassandra Kanalas and Alicia Zhou. He was honored to be a Team USA Elite Coach at the Jr. Pan Am Games and World Championships. Coach Harris has over 35 years of coaching experience in the Junior Olympic, TOPS and Elite developmental programs and was the USA Elite Chairman for Region 3 in Texas. He has opened multiple gyms over the years that led to many awards, including the 2005 African American Business Award in San Antonio, Tx. He trained as a college gymnast under coaches Abraham Grossfield and Peter Korman. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education.
BOYS TEAM DIRECTOR
Nick Madera
Midway
Coach Nick is the GCE Boys Team Director, Boys Recreational and Tumbling Director. He was a competitive gymnast and was the Boys Program Director in Panama. City from 2010-2018 before moving to our area. He lives here with his girlfriend and her two children.

Melanie Fuller

Coach Melanie has over 20 years of coaching experience. Through the years she has had the opportunity to help train 5 athletes to receive full athletic scholarships to D1 schools. Coach Melanie also started a TOPS program and had athletes qualify to TOPS national testing. Melanie holds a Bachelors in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Southern Alabama.

Oriole Beach
Coach Sarah comes to us as a mother and a life-long resident of Pensacola, Florida. She accepted her first coaching position at the age 12 coaching a local YMCA cheer team. While in highschoo,l she was a member of the Early childhood development program. After graduating Sarah attended PSC to pursue a career in Elementary education. Sarah has spent the past 10 years as a Preschool, Recreational, and After-School Director in various gymnastics and cheer facilities. She now oversees GCE's Rec and Preschool programs.

Mark "Tiger" Baldwin
Oriole Beach
Coach Tiger began his career in gymnastics in 1989 as a gymnast under the tutelage of Coach Sei Ito. He competed in high school and college as a springboard diver. After high school, Tiger became a traveling stunt man and competed in the very first ESPN Extreme Games in 1995. Tiger has been coaching all levels in the USAG Junior Development program. He has coached competitive springboard diving, gymnastics, tumbling and trampoline, acrobatic gymnastics, and cheerleading in nearly all aspects, but has most recently specialized in vault, uneven bars, and tumbling for higher optional levels.

Coach Savannah is the level two coach. She was a competitive gymnast and trained up to level 8. When she went to high school, she became a cheerleader. She cheered through high school and for four years in college at the University of South Alabama. She has been coaching competitive gymnastics for the last two years and plans to continue her career as a gymnastics coach.

Oriole Beach
Coach Alisha is a mother of 4 boys. She has over 20 years of experience teaching children in many areas including, homeschooling, public and private schools, and after school programs. She was a prior competitive dancer. In her free time she enjoys teaching and practicing Aerial arts.

Coach Austin teaches GCE classes. He has been a competitive gymnast for 7 years and is currently a level 9 on GCE's Men's Team.

Chris
Midway
Coach Chris was a competitive gymnast and has been coaching boys & girls gymnastics since 1982. Chris cheered for 4 yrs. at Univ. of TN and then coached cheerleading at UT and started the cheer program for NWFL State College in Niceville. He has his M.S. in environmental engineering and works FT as an engineer. He has a daughter (Rebecca teaches ballet classes at GCE) and son (collegiate gymnastics coach at Univ. of Denver), and granddaughter on GCE’s competitive team.

Ms. Elena teaches GCE preschool classes and is our summer Day Camp Director. She has participated in or coached about every sport! She studied health education and child development. She has 2 children.

Coach Haley teaches GCEG classes. She has been a competitive gymnast for 11 years and is currently a Level 9 on GCEG's Girls

Midway
Coach Jonathan teaches GCE classes and coaches our girls teams. He was a competitive cheerleader in AL. He graduated with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a M.S. and PhD in Psychology from CU in Minneapolis. He has coached cheerleading and tumbling since 1999 and gymnastics since 2016.

Coach Kenny teaches GCE classes and coaches our boys and girls competitive teams. He was a competitive gymnast in Japan and at GCG for a total of 8 years combined and finished as a level 10 with GCG. He is married and has one child.Â

Coach Lizzy teaches GCE classes and coaches our girls teams. She was a competitive gymnast for 6 years and finished as a level 6

Coach Lorelei teaches GCE classes. She is an NHS cheerleader and was a competitive gymnast for 5 years and finished as a level 6 with GCG.

Coach McKinnley teaches GCE classes. She has been an athlete in multiple sports including soccer, basketball, soccer, softball and track. She is currently in college at PSC.

Ms. Jenny
Midway and Oriole Beach
Ms. Jenny is the Gym Manager at both our location. She is also our full time front desk customer service person and handles all team administration and uniforms. She is originally from Germany and was a competitive gymnast there for 5 years. She moved to the U.S. in 2007 with her parents and has lived here ever since. Jenny is married, has 2 children, both are on GCE’s Girls Team.

Ms Carmen is part of our customer service team at the front desk. She is a CNA and Red Cross member. She was also a competitive gymnast and coach in Germany.
